Oh, Please!

Some people are upset because President Obama is not having a public observance of the National Day of Prayer at the White House this Thursday. However, what some people fail to realize that George W. Bush was the first president to hold these events. Didn't Jesus say something about not praying in public?

If James Dobson said all the things about me that he said about Obama I wouldn't want to pray with his wife either. Just sayin'.

Jesus prayed in public. The Apostles prayed in public. President Bush is to be applauded for his lifting up the place of prayer in the life of our nation. It is fully justified that failure of the current administration to continue to hold up the place of prayer in public life would be criticized and condemned.

That's just Obama's way of "getting back" at FOX News for not showing his "100th Day in Office" biz . . . ;)
